It was the magnificent old Ash tree that first attracted me to this scene, then I saw how it framed Moel Siabod in the distance and how the shifting sunlight through the clouds was lighting up the woodland meadow; it gave the impression that it was a secret, magical woodland meadow that could have just fallen out of a fantasy story.
