Photographed at Dinas Dinlle Beach, which is a fantastic beach located near Caernafon, there is also the remains of an Iron Age hillfort to see that has a world war two bunker cut into its base.
This particular shot, I think, really captures the scene and its atmosphere that was playing out at Dinas Dinlle Beach; you get a sense of the raw power of the sea fuelled by a strong wind, the haze obscuring the mountains and clouds building beyond with the sunlight illuminating the cloud heads. It's this kind of setting that draws me to coast, that uncontrollable dramatic raw energy that is unleashed captivates me to obsession and inspires me to return.
