A photograph of the Liverpool Town Hall shot from Exchange Flags courtyard. The town hall was completed in 1754 to a design by John Wood the Elder. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building, and described in the list as "one of the finest surviving 18th-century town halls in the country. The Town hall is preceded by Nelson Monument in the photograph, which was erected in 1805 to commemorate Nelson's victory at the Battle of Trafalgar. This digitally enhanced photograph in creating an antique plate effect, tries to capture the spirit of Liverpool's 'Where Old meets New'
