I took this sunrise photograph around 1.00 am, one hour after I'd photographed the sunset at 12.00 am. I have never witnessed, the sun not quite set before as it sat just above the horizon and then started to rise, and to be able to photograph a sunset and a sunrise within one hour of each other was an incredible experience.
For two months of the year in the Lofoten Islands, the sun does not set!
