There is something about this composition at this time of day that really draws me back time and time again. It is that part of the day when the sun has set and the day is moving into the blue hour, it's that time in between, when the day meets the night, and when there is no wind and the lake is still, then you can really feel the transition; the mood of the place changes, the temperature starts to drop, the changing light creates a landscape different from what was viewed just fifteen minutes earlier. The whole place takes on a new magical persona and that persona is what I attempt to capture.
