I took this sunset shot over Ynys Lawd/ South Stack Lighthouse late October 2019. It was a wonderfully warm autumnal evening and the setting was perfect for a sunset shot.
Other than obvious foreground interest of the island lighthouse I love the expansiveness of the sea and how the warm light is catching the broken cloud, it invokes a sense calm and inner peace and helps one to rebalance to a more relaxed state of mind.
I was also going to mention how much I love the endless horizon that to me suggests infinite space and distant lands but then I noticed you can just make out Ireland on the horizon; I think it must be the Wicklow Mountains, which is located south of Dublin.
