Photographed mid June 2020 at lakeside of Llyn Dinas, Snowdonia National Park, Wales, UK
There are some wonderfully characteristic trees with gnarled outstretching limbs that are surrounded by moss covered rocks near Llyn Dinas lakeside. You are spoilt for composition choice and you really do need to give yourself time to absorb the scene and take in the finer details before photographing.
The wonderful individual nature of these trees and the fact that the tree limb in the foreground resembles that of a bent knee, led me to naming this image after the sentient trees of the 'Lord of the Rings' tale.
