This is one of three compostions I made on a visit to Llandudno's North Shore Beach. For this composition I wanted to capture the chaotic nature of the waves crashing into the beach and the interaction of the water with the rocks. I’m happy with the end product because I think it truly reflects the nature of the scene, portraying a strong wind with an angry sea. I was also happy I could use the sun setting over Great Orme, which was looming over Llandudno Promenade, as interesting elements in the background.
